MURIATICUM ACIDUM
Muriatic Acid
This acid has an optionally available affinity for the blood, producing a septic situation comparable to that observed in low fevers with excessive temperature and first-rate prostration. Patient turns into so susceptible she slides down the bed. Decomposition of fluids. Involuntary stools whilst passing urine. Haemorrhages. Mouth and anus specifically effected.
Mind.–Irritable and peevish; fretful Loud moaning. Great restlessness. Sad, taciturn; suffers in silence.
Head.–Vertigo; worse mendacity on proper side; occiput heavy as if crammed with lead. Sound of voice is intolerable. Pain as if intelligence have been crushed.
Nose.–Haemorrhage; a whole lot sneezing.
Face.–Lower jaw fallen; zits and freckles; lips raw, dry, cracked.
Mouth.–Tongue, pale, swollen, dry, leathery, paralyzed. Deep ulcers on tongue. Hard lumps in tongue. Epithelioma; edges bluish-red (Carbol ac). Aphthous mouth. Gums and glands swollen. Fetid Breath. Sordes on teeth.
Throat.–Uvula swollen. Ulcers and false membrane. Å’dematous, dark, raw. Attempted swallowing produces spasm and choking.
Stomach.–Cannot undergo sight or notion of meat. At times, ravenous urge for food and regular want to drink. Achlorhydria and fermentation of food.
Rectum.–Tendency to involuntary evacuations whilst urinating. Haemorrhoids most touchy to all touch; even sheet of lavatory paper is painful. Anal itching and prolapsus ani whilst urinating. Haemorrhoids for the duration of pregnancy; bluish, warm with violent stitches.
Heart.–Pulse rapid, feeble, and small. Intermits each and every 1/3 beat.
Urine.–Cannot urinate barring having bowels go at equal time.
Female.–Menses show up too soon. Leucorrhoea. During menses, discomfort of anus. Ulcer in genitals.
Extremities.–Heavy, painful, and weak. Tottering gait. Pain in tendo-Achilles.
Skin.–Papular and vesicular eruptions, with super itching (Rhus). Carbuncles; foul-smelling ulcers on decrease extremities. Scarlet fever, livid, with petechiae; scanty eruption. Eczema on lower back of hands.
Fever.–Cold extremities. Heat besides thirst. Typhoid types, stupid. Haemorrhages. Restlessness. Involuntary discharges. Bed-sores. Pulse fast and feeble. Excessive prostration.
Modalities.–Worse, in damp weather, earlier than midnight. Better, mendacity on left side.
Relationship.–Compare: Phos ac; Ars; Bapt. Follows nicely after Bry and Rhus.
Antidote; Bryonia.
Dose.–First to 0.33 potency.
