Spasmodic tickling cough, in particular in cardiac patients, is regularly magically influenced via this drug. Lack of reaction, specially in chest and coronary heart affections. Drink rolls audibly thru oesophagus and intestines. General coldness, no longer ameliorated via warmth. Violent ache in belly with loss of speech. Spasm of facial muscular tissues and oesophagus. Asphyxia neonatorum.
Fever.–Coldness; chills and warmness alternate. Thirst, with dry mouth in afternoon.
Respiratory.–Cyanosis and dyspnoea; worse, sitting up. Patient places arms on heart. Cough, with valvular disease. Exercise reasons ache round heart. Tickling, dry cough. Dyspnoea. Constriction of chest. Cough, with copious, jelly-like, or bloody expectoration. Small and feeble pulse. Threatening paralysis of lungs. Gasping for breath; clutches at heart.
Heart.–Mitral regurgitation. Clutching at coronary heart and palpitation. Cyanosis neonatorum.
Sleep.–Spells of deep sleep, with loud night breathing and stertorous breathing.
Extremities.–Toe and finger nails come to be knotty. Skin blue. Sprained pains in hips, thighs and heels. Cold, clammy toes and legs. Clubbing of fingers. Veins of fingers distended.
Relationship.–Compare: Hydrocy ac; Camphor; Secale; Ammon carb; Ambra.
Dose.–Tincture to 0.33 potency. Cherry-laurel water, two to 5 drop doses.
