A unstable acid acquired notably from butter
(BUTYRIC ACID)
Head.–Worries over trifles; impulsive ideas of suicide; steady country of concern and nervousness. Headache makes him frightened about trifles; worse going upstairs or fast motion. Dull, hazy affliction of head.
Stomach.–Poor appetite. Much gasoline in belly and bowels. Cramps in pit of stomach, worse at night. Stomach feels heavy and overloaded. Cramp in stomach beneath umbilicus. Bowels irregular. Stool accompanied by means of ache and straining.
Back.–Tired feeling and stupid ache in small of back, worse walking. Pain in ankles and up returned of leg. Pain low down in returned and extremities.
Sleep.–Pronounced sleeplessness; desires of serious nature whilst asleep.
Skin.–Perspiration on mild exertion. Profuse, offensive sweat of feet. Crumbling away of finger-nails.
Modalities.–Worse, at night, speedy walking, going upstairs.
Dose.–Third attenuation.
