POPULUS CANDICANS
Balm of Gilead
Seems to have a brilliant strength over acute colds, specifically when accompanied by using a deep, hoarse voice, or even aphonia. General insensibility of floor (worse, again and abdomen); rubbing and pounding borne besides pain, and is grateful on account of warmness produced. Finger-ends thickened, horny; senseless to pinching and pricking. Instantaneous voice-producer (Coca).
Head.–Discusses her signs and symptoms with each one. Hot head with bloodless extremities. Cold-sores on lips (Nat mur). Tongue feels thick and numb. Burning infection of eyes, nose, mouth, throat, and air passages.
Respiratory.–Acute hoarseness. Throat and nostrils burn. Sits bent ahead with dry cough. Pharynx and larynx sense dry, and the voice susceptible and toneless. Rawness and affliction of chest and throat. Cough of teens brought about via naso-pharyngeal catarrh; mucus drops from posterior nares.
Doses.–Tincture.
