Highly efficacious medication for acute catarrhal stipulations of the respiratory tract (used in the beginning)
Head.–Irritable, touchy to exterior impressions; hot, full and heavy head; lachrymation, with coryza, profuse, fluent, with regular sneezing; loss of odor and taste; coryza with cough.
Throat.–Dry, ache all through empty swallowing, tenacious mucus. Mouth dry.
Respiratory.–Dry cough from sternal vicinity all over chest. Hoarseness, larynx painful. Paroxysmal cough, with suffocative obstruction of respiration. Cough with sneezing. Severe dyspnoea with cough. Tightness throughout chest. Asthmatic attacks, can’t suffer a close, heat room. Whooping-cough.
Relationship.–Seems to come between Cepa and Euphrasia, which compare.
Dose.–Third efficiency and higher. Severe aggravation have been seen from lower potencies.
