State of apprehensive excitement. Has marked motion upon the heart. Possesses exceptional efficacy in cardiac diseases. Control vascular pleasure in hypertrophy with thickening of the heart’s walls. Cardiac debility after influenza. Liver location full and painful. White stools.
Mind.–Sad and sighing; frightened and trembling. Irritable.
Head.–Vertigo and pains round heart. Constant hawking of thick, stringy mucus till after a meal. Hot, flushed face. Vertigo, as if occiput have been turning around; eyes sense pressured outwards.
Heart.–Conscious of heart’s action. On turning on left side, stitching ache as of needles thru ventricles felt at every systole. Palpitation, with vertigo and choking in throat. Stitching pains in cardiac region. Pulse full, irregular, intermittent. Worse, least action and in heat room. Sensation of weight and pressure, with occasional sharp, stinging pains. Dropsy, with enlarged heart. Violent palpitation caused by way of slightest exertion, or by means of laughing, or coughing. Darting pains thru heart. Cardiac dyspnoea. Dilation of heart. Wakes with palpitation about two am. Throat and trachea fills up with mucus. Cough reasons redness of face. Tachycardia.
Extremities.–Numbness and tingling in left hand and arm. Whole physique sore, lame and trembling.
Modalities.–Worse, mendacity down; on left side; motion, exertion; heat room.
Relationship.–Compare: Cact; Dig; Amyl; Bell.
Dose.–Tincture and first potency.
