Used homeopathically, dynamized Glycerine appears to act
deeply and long, constructing up tissue, consequently of exquisite use in marasmus, debility, intellectual and physical, diabetes, etc. It disturbs vitamin in its main action, and, secondarily, looks to enhance the time-honored nation of diet (Dr. Wm. B. Griggs).
Head.–Feels full, throbs; mentally confused. Severe headache two days be earlier than menstruation. Occiput feels full.
Nose.–Stopped up, sneezing, demanding coryza. Sensation of crawling on mucous membrane. Post-nasal dripping.
Chest.–Hacking cough with feel of weakness. Chest appears full. Influenzal pneumonia.
Stomach.–Fermentation, burning in belly and oesophagus.
Urinary.–Profuse and widespread urination. Increased particular gravity and sugar. Diabetes.
Female.–Profuse, long-lasting drift with bearing down heaviness in uterus. General experience of exhaustion.
Extremities.–Rheumatic pains of a remittent type. Feet painful and hot, experience enlarged.
Relationship.–Compare: Lactic acid; Gelsemium; Calc.
Dose.–Thirtieth and greater potencies. Pure Glycerine in teaspoonful doses, t.i.d, with lemon juice for pernicious anaemia.
