Head.–Alopecia. Caries of skin. Pressure on facets of head from inside outward. Caries of ossicles and mastoid, with copious discharge; worse heat (Silica; worse cold). Exostosis.
Eyes.–Sensation as of wind blowing via eyes. Lachrymal fistula. Violent itching of internal canthus.
Nose.–Chronic nasal catarrh with ulceration of the septum; nostril obstructed and stupid heavy ache in forehead.
Mouth.–Dental fistula, with power bloody, salty discharge. Syphilitic ulceration of throat, which is very touchy to cold. Teeth experience warm. Affects enamel and bones of top jaw.
Stomach.–Heaviness and weight in belly warmness in belly earlier than meals. Sour eructations. Averse to coffee, wishes fancy dishes. Stomach signs relieved with the aid of tight clothes. Desire for quite pro food. Craves bloodless water, hungry. Warm drinks produce diarrhoea.
Abdomen.–Soreness over liver. Flatus and eructations.
Stool.–Bilious diarrhoea, with aversion to coffee.
Male.–Burning in urethra. Sexual passion and wish elevated with erections at night, at some point of sleep. Swollen scrotum.
Urine.–Scanty, dark. In dropsy, produces widely wide-spread and free discharge, with gorgeous relief.
Female.–Menses copious, frequent, too long. Ulceration of uterus and os. Copious and excoriating leucorrhoea. Nymphomania.
Respiratory.–Oppression of chest, tough breathing, tremendous dyspnoea. Hydrothorax.
Extremities.–Inflammation of joints of fingers. Feeling as of a splinter underneath nail. Nails crumble. Caries and necrosis, mainly of lengthy bones. Coccygodynia. Ulcer over tibia.
Skin.–Varicose veins. Naevi. Ulcers; pink edges and vesicles. Decubitus; worse, warmth. Syphilitic rupia. Itching of cicatrices. Feels as if burning vapor have been emitted from pores. Itching specially of the orifices, and in spots, worse warmth. Nails develop rapidly. Periosteal abscess. Profuse, sour, offensive perspiration. Syphilitic tubercles. Dropsy of limbs in old, feeble constitutions. Atony of capillary and venous system. Tissues bloated.
Modalities.–Worse, warmth, morning, heat drinks. Better, bloodless whilst walking.
Relationship.–Compare: Thiosinaminum (action on cicatricial tissues; adhesions, strictures, tumors); Calc fluor; Silica.
