Relieved from strain and heat room. Scalp sensitive; worse combing hair. Aches worse in open air, from temple to temple. Worse by using contact, present day of air, stepping. Dizzy when walking.
Eyes.–Blue coloration round eyes. Hollow eyes. Yellowish sclerotica. Black specks, vibrant remarkable illusions; night time blindness in anæmic retina. Spots earlier than eyes. Photophobia. Distortion of eyeballs. Intermittent ciliary neuralgia. Pressure in eyes. Amaurosis; scalding lachrymation.
Ears.–Ringing in ears. External ear touchy to touch. Hearing touchy to noise. Lobules pink and swollen.
Nose.–Checked catarrh. Easily bleeding from nose, particularly on rising. Coryza, sneezing, watery discharge. Violent dry sneezing. Cold sweat about nose.
Face.–Sallow complexion. Face bloated; red.
Mouth.–Toothache; higher urgent tooth firmly together, and by way of warmth. Tongue lined thick, dirty; tip burns, succeeded by means of ptyalism. Bitter taste. Food tastes too salty.
Stomach.–Tender, cold. Vomiting of undigested food. Slow digestion. Weight after eating. Ill outcomes of tea. Hungry barring appetite. Flat taste. Darting ache crosswise in hypogastric region. Milk disagrees. Hungry longing for food, which lies undigested. Flatulence; belching of bitter fluid or regurgitation of meals offers no relief; worse consuming fruit. Hiccough. Female.–Menses too early. Dark clots and stomach distention. Profuse menses with pain. Desire too strong. Bloody leucorrhÅ“a. Seems to take the region of the standard menstrual discharge. Painful heaviness in pelvis.
Respiratory.–Influenza, with debility. Cannot breathe with head low. Labored, gradual respiration; steady choking. Suffocative catarrh; rattling in chest; violent, hacking cough after each meal. Hæmorrhage from lungs. DyspnÅ“a, sharp ache in left lung. Asthma; worse damp weather.
Heart.–Irregular with vulnerable speedy beats observed by means of strong, difficult beats. Suffocative attacks, syncope; anæmia and dropsy.
Back.–Sharp pains throughout kidneys, worse motion and at night. Knife-like pains round lower back (D. MacFarlan).
Extremities.–Pains in limbs and joints, as if sprained; worse, mild touch; difficult stress relieves. Sensation as of a string round limb. Joints swollen; very sensitive, with dread or open air. Skin.–Extreme sensitiveness to touch, however difficult stress relieves. Coldness; a good deal sweat. One hand ice cold, the different warm. Anasarca (Ars; Apis). Dermatitis; erysipelas. Indurated glands; scrofulous ulcers and caries.
Sleep.–Drowsiness. Unrefreshing or consistent stupor. Wakens early. Protracted sleeplessness. Anxious, frightful desires with stressed cognizance on waking, so that the dream can’t be rid of and worry of dream remains. Snoring, specifically with children.
Fever.–Intermittent, paroxysms anticipate; return each week. All ranges nicely marked. Chill normally in forenoon, moving forward in breast; thirst earlier than chill, and little and often.
