Precipitated Sub-Nitrate of Bismuth
(BISMUTHUM)
Irritation and catarrhal irritation of the alimentary canal, is the chief and motion of this drug.
Mind.–Solitude is unbearable. Desire for company. Complains about his condition. Anguish. Discontented.
Head.–Headache alternates with gastralgia. Neuralgic pain, as if torn through pincers; entails face and teeth; worse, eating; better, cold; alternate with gastralgia. Cutting or stress above proper orbit extending to occiput. Pressure in occiput; worse, motion; with heaviness.
Mouth.–Gums swollen. Toothache; better, bloodless water in mouth (Coff). Tongue white. Swollen. Black, gangrenous searching wedges on dorsum and facets of tongue. Profuse salivation, enamel loose. Thirst for bloodless drinks.
Stomach.–Vomits, with convulsive gagging and pain. Water is vomited as quickly as it reaches the stomach. Eructation after drinking. Vomits all fluids. Burning; feeling of a load. Will consume for quite a few days; then vomit. Slow digestion, with fetid eructations. Gastralgia; ache from belly thru to spine. Gastritis. Better, bloodless drinks, however vomiting when belly will become full.
Tongue covered white; sweetish, metal taste. Inexpressible ache in stomach; have to bend backwards. Pressure as from a load in one spot, alternating with burning, crampy ache and pyrosis.
Stool.–Painless diarrhoea, with outstanding thirst, and accepted micturition and vomiting. Pinching in decrease abdomen, with rumbling.
Respiratory.–Pinching in center of diaphragm, extending transversely thru chest. Angina pectoris; ache round heart, left arm to fingers.
Extremities.–Cramps in arms and feet. Tearing in wrist. Paralytic weakness, specifically proper arm. Tearing in suggestions of fingers underneath nails (Berb). Itching erosion close to tibia and lower back of toes close to joints. Cold limbs.
Sleep.–Restless on account of voluptuous dreams. Sleepy in morning, a few hours after eating.
Relationship.–Antidotes: Nux; Capsic; Calc.

Dose.–First to sixth potency.
