Mind.–Bewildered. Low spirited.

Stomach.–Nausea, with drowsiness. Thirst on walking. Excessive vomiting. Food or water is straight away ejected. Dull, heavy, ailing feeling. Oppression in epigastrium and chest, impeding respiration (Lobelia infl). Sensation of sinking in stomach. Abdomen bloated. Ascites.
Stool.–Watery, flatulent, with agony in anus; worse after eating. Feeling as if sphincter had been open and stools ran proper out.
Urine.–Bladder tons distended. Turbid, warm urine, with thick mucus and burning in urethra, after urinating. Little expulsive power. Dribbling. Strangury. Renal Dropsy.
Female.–Amenorrhoea, with bloating; metrorrhagia with nausea; fainting, integral depression. Haemorrhages at alternate of life. Blood expelled in giant clots.
Respiratory.–Short, dry cough. Respiratory quick and unsatisfactory. Sighing. Oppression about epigastrium and chest.
Heart.–Tricuspid regurgitation; speedy and feeble, irregular cardiac action, low arterial tension, pulsating jugulars, normal cyanosis and standard dropsy.
Sleep.–Great restlessness and little sleep.
Modalities.–Worse, bloodless weather; bloodless drinks; uncovering.
Relationship.–Cymarin is the energetic precept of Apocyn, lowers pulse price and will increase blood-pressure. Strophanthus (extreme cardiac despair with extreme gastric disturbance; dropsy). Aralia hispida-Wild Elder-a treasured diuretic, beneficial in dropsy of the cavities, both due to hepatic or renal disorder with constipation. Urinary disorders, mainly with dropsy. Scudder advises doses of 5 to thirty drops in sweetened cream of tartar, (Solution). Apis, Arsenic, Digital; Helleb.
Dose.–Tincture (ten drops three instances daily) and in acute alcoholism 1 dram of decoction in four oz water.
