
RHEUM PALMATUM
Rhubarb (RHEUM)
Of regular use in teenagers with bitter diarrhoea; tough dentition. Whole baby smells sour.
Mind.–Impatient and vehement; wishes many matters and cries (Cina).
Head.–Sweat on furry scalp; consistent and profuse. Cool sweat on the face, particularly about mouth and nose.
Mouth.–Much saliva. Sensation of coolness in teeth. Difficult teething; stressed and irritable. Breath smells bitter (Cham).
Stomach.–Desire for quite a number sorts of food, however quickly tires of all. Throbbing in pit. Feels full.
Abdomen.–Colicky ache about navel. Colic when uncovering. Wind looks to upward push up to chest.
Rectum.–Before stool, unsuccessful urging to urinate. Stools odor sour, pasty, with shivering and tenesmus, and burning in anus. Sour diarrhoea for the duration of dentition. Colicky, even ineffectual urging to evacuate altered fecal stools.
Modalities.–Worse, uncovering, after eating, shifting about.
Relationship.–Compare: Mag phos; Hep; Pod; Cham; Ipec.
Antidotes: Camph; Cham.
Complementary: Mag carb.
Dose.–Third to sixth potency.
