Mouth.–Grinding the tooth at night; severe want to press the gums collectively (Phytol). Difficult dentition. Tongue broad, large, moist. Foul, putrid taste. Burning sensation of tongue.

Stomach.–Hot, bitter belching; nausea and vomiting. Thirst for massive portions of bloodless water (Bry). Vomiting of hot, frothy mucus. Heartburn; gagging or empty retching. Vomiting of milk.

Abdomen.–Distended; warmth and emptiness. Sensation of weak spot or sinking. Can lie without problems solely on stomach. Liver vicinity painful, higher rubbing part. Rumbling and moving of flatus in ascending colon.

Rectum.–Cholera infantum and morbus. Diarrhoea of lengthy standing; early in morning; at some stage in teething, with hot, glowing cheeks whilst being bathed or washed; in warm climate after acid fruits. Fever.–Chill at 7 am, with ache in hypochondria, and knees, ankles, wrists, Great loquacity in the course of fever. Profuse sweat.

Modalities.–Worse, in early morning, in warm weather, all through dentition.

Relationship.–Compare: Mandragora-also referred to as mandrake–(must no longer be confounded with Podoph. Great want for sleep; exaggeration of sounds and enlarged vision. Bowels inactive; stools large, white and hard). Aloe; Chelid; Merc; Nux; Sulph. Prunella-Self-head–(Colitis).

Dose.–Tincture to sixth potency. The two hundredth and one thousandth appear to do correct work in cholera infantum, when indicated.
