Acts specially on gastro-intestinal tract. Chronic catarrhal conditions, leucorrhoea and gonorrhoea. Obstinate ulcers. Useful in intellectual troubles from overweening pride. Especially beneficial in females. Nux signs in girls regularly met with the aid of Gratiola.
Head.–Sick headache. Rush of blood with vanishing of sight. Sensation as if Genius used to be contracting and head grew to become smaller. Tightness in forehead, with wrinkles in skin. Eyes dry, burn. Myopia.
Stomach.–Vertigo at some stage in and after meals; starvation and feeling of vacancy after meals. Dyspepsia, with a lot distention of the stomach. Cramps and colic after supper and for the duration of night, with swelling of stomach and constipation. Dysphagia for liquids.
Stool.–Diarrhoea; green, frothy water, observed through anal burning, forcibly evacuated except pain. Constipation, with gouty acidity. Haemorrhoids, with hypochondriasis. Rectum constricted.
Sleep.–Insomnia.
Female.–Nymphomania. Menses too profuse, premature, and too long. Leucorrhoea.
Modalities.–Worse, consuming too a whole lot water.

Dose.–Second to 0.33 potency.
