Main components are:

Sperm count:

In man’s ejaculation concentration of sperm is measured in sperm count. Measuring unit is UN million sperm per milliliter. In old theory above twenty million sperm per milliliter was considered normal but now in recent definition it is fifteen million. In the western world sperm count is decreasing one to two percent per year that is now a day is sixty million per millimeter and that decreasing is from many decades. Industrialized countries in the western world have been steadily decreased in the sperm count.

Dependence of pregnancy rate changes with the sperm count.  A chance of successful pregnancy increases by 20% when the reading of sperm count is 20 million, while forty percent when reading is thirty million. The successful pregnancy rate link is flatter when reading is above fifty million.

The aim or target of male should have sperm count in the range of fifty to sixty million either sperm count is passed by the allopathic doctors.

Total sperm count

In the entire ejaculation total number of spermatozoa is called total sperm count o total sperm number. It is the sperm count multiplied by the volume of semen, which is minimum at least 2 ml.

Motility

Good forward movement shows the motility of sperm and quality of sperm is same is similar. If a person has high range of total sperm count but that does not mean he has good quality of sperm because few are motile. Chance of a successful procreation will reduce.

Morphology

Evaluation of the morphology of the sperm is also done. If four percent or above of observed sperm have morphology, then they are considered normal sample by WHO criteria in 2010. During in vitro fertilization in fertilizing oocytes morphology is a success predictor.

Sperm Volume

Measuring of the volume of the sample is done. Volume that lies in the range of 1.5ml and 6.5ml is under normal range by allopathic. If partial or complete blockage of semen vessels it is considered to have low volume, or that the man was born without seminal vesicles.

Fructose level

Measurement the level of fructose in the semen is also done. Any problem with the semen vessel is indicated by the absence of fructose.

PH

Measurement of sample is also done. Slightly alkaline, with a normal range of 7.2-7.8 is considered to be a good sample. It is harmful to sperm if ph value is out of the range. One or both of the vessels of semen are blocked indicate by the Acidic ejaculate that have low ph value. Whereas infection is indicating by the basic ejaculate that have higher pH value.
